Here, you can play the Acquire board game. Many user interface and game play elements are based on Kensit's NetAcquire Windows application. Thank you Kensit for the great design!
Notes regarding passwords:
If you set a password for your username, then your password will be required in order to login.
If you don't set a password for your username, then leave the password field empty in order to login.
You'll probably want to set a password for your username so that only you can use your username.
Some non-obvious features:
You can play a tile by clicking its associated location on the game board.
There are keyboard shortcuts, in addition to the normal Tab and Shift-Tab, for game actions:
Play tile: press 1-6 to move to a tile, enter to play it.
Select chain: press 1-7 or L,T,A,F,W,C,I to move to a chain, enter to select it.
Dispose of shares: press 1-7 for the corresponding button (left-to-right), K for Keep All, T for Trade ▲, Shift-T for Trade ▼, S for Sell ▲, Shift-S for Sell ▼, 8 or O to move to the OK button, enter to press it.
Purchase shares: press 1-7 or L,T,A,F,W,C,I to add a chain to the cart, Shift-1-7 or Shift-L,T,A,F,W,C,I to remove a chain from the cart, DELETE or MINUS to remove the right-most chain from the cart, E or ASTERISK to toggle the End Game checkbox, O to move to the OK button, enter to press it.
The IP address of any player can be seen by hovering over their name in the lobby or on the game score sheet.
